Remember the 2000 election? Remember how the Democrats railed then and continue to rail at we Nader voters here in Florida? We 'lost the election 'for Gore, and put these morons in the White House. It wasn't the outright fraud and illegal voter purges, or the neo fascist assault by five hacks on the Supreme Court. No, the rigged Diebold machines and other various factors had nothing to do with it. It was that scoundrel, that nut, Nader, and all of us who supported him. We were the crooks , not the Bush/Cheney machine minions, who put the 'Boy Emperor 'in office.

I mean, just think of it, if it weren't for Nader , and the fools who voted for him, we would have Vice President..... Lieberman! Yeah, the clown who became McCain's shadow ( or is it the other way around? ) would be rattling his saber to go after Iraq and Iran and any other so called threat to Israel and Big Oil. Get it? Meanwhile, who was it that approved of the ( illegal? ) resolution giving Bush , Cheney and co. carte blanche to attack Iraq? Who was it that stood silent when the truth finally came out about the run-up to the invasion?

Who stands silent even now? No, the real 'wasted vote 'was by those who nominate ( and elect ) candidates who could not give squat about 9 to 5 Americans.

You can go back in time to almost any Presidential election. Who do you think really selects the candidates representing the two major parties? Remember Jimmy Carter, Governor of Georgia? No one on the national stage even knew who this guy was in '74 or before. Wait a minute, a few folks did. Duh, like David Rockefeller and his buddies who created the Tri Lateral Commission- a group of western industrial Fat Cats who monitor world events and create 'policy studies '.

These so called 'policy studies 'become the actual policies that the Congress and White House follow! Those guys invited Jimmy Carter and , duh, coincidentally, his future running mate, Sen. Walter Mondale and brought them into their little club. Two years later..... Wallah , 'President Jimmy Carter 'and VP Fritz Mondale. Fast forward to 2004. It seems the 'grass roots ', you know , regular 9 to 5 Americans, wanted Howard Dean as their Democratic nominee.

Well, somebody or rather, certain influential rich guys did not want Dean to become President Dean. So, right after he made a spirited and powerful speech to his own supporters at a rally in Iowa..... the next day he is painted as a ...... Crazy over the top NUT! Media jumps all over it.... I mean ALL over it. Who stumbles in? The guy that had become a joke even in the eyes of most Democratic voters in '03. A guy who made 'flip flopping 'a new sport. To listen to Kerry during the debates was laughable.

You could see the guy was ready to fold his tent and go home...... With his millions of $$$$ still in hand, back to the Senate, where he could posture and spew rhetoric to his hearts content. Yet, as if overnight, John Kerry became the new 'front runner '. Why? OK, I am ahead of myself.... Well, you can take it......Kerry became the new front runner because the rich guys you never see or hear or read of in the news..... They wanted " Four More Years " of cronyism and no bid contracts, cost overruns..... War war war..... And, oh yeah, sub prime scams and other Wall street banking schemes. They may have gotten some of that with Kerry..... Maybe.

With 'Four more years 'of the Boy Emperor and Darth Vader, however, they would be guaranteed it! Look at what happened in Ohio on election night '04. I remember seeing Dick Morris, the little weasel who has ( to this writer ) one asset in life: He sure as hell knows about polling. Dick Morris was hired by some network to be an analyst on election night. As the early exit polls came in from Ohio, Morris noticed a trend developing. " The exit polls show us that Kerry is way ahead of Bush in key precincts.

Going by these exit polls, which are highly credible, Kerry should win Ohio easily." Later on, after the so called results did not jive with the exit polls, Morris himself stated that something 'Fishy 'went on in Ohio. Stories have leaked out that upon hearing this news, right after the results were posted, Kerry's running mate, Sen. John Edwards, insisted that they contest the Ohio vote. Kerry, as we all now know, refused to do it. Ditto with Nixon in 1960, regarding the Chicago vote fraud that stole Illinois ( and thus the presidency ) for Kennedy. Tricky Dick was told ( or ordered? ) to 'let it go, there will be another day in the sun for you '.

Let's look at Sen. John McCain. In 2000, he was literally savaged by the Karl Rove managed Bush campaign. I mean, they even sent out word to voters that McCain's adopted Asian daughter was a 'love child 'of his. What they did to that man almost made me forget all what is wrong with his politics. They implied that he was some sort of 'Manchurian Candidate ', alluding to the 1960s film about a POW brainwashed by the North Koreans and placed in Washington politics. Imagine, for whatever one may think about the Vietnam War and McCain's part in it, to dishonor what he and any other POW went through in captivity..... Disgraceful!

Yet, in 2004, it was 'kiss and make up time 'for McCain and the Boy Emperor. He supported Bush's reelection and got what he wanted..... Four years later. The guys who pull the strings and call the shots made 2008 McCain's time to shine. Look at the Republican campaign this past year. McCain was at the bottom of the list 10 months ago. He was virtually finished ( memories of John Kerry in '04 ? ) And out of money to boot. Wallah, as if by magic, the front runners fall away, and McCain finds himself the candidate. Interesting, or shady?

Why? Well, the 'conspiracy theory 'is as follows: They choose McCain because, with all due respect to him, he, like Kerry, is the loser! He talks like one, acts like one, and will become one. You see, the rich guys mentioned above, they decided it is time for a Democrat to 'Captain the Titanic '. They know they have raped and pillaged our treasury, destroyed the economy for working Americans, and forced us into an upcoming Depression. Why? Well, study 1929.... No actually the early 30s. See who made out when the market crashed. See who sold early and bought back at a fraction of the price. Free market..... Ha!!

So, Obama was chosen. He fits the bill too. Won't rock the boat.... A Centrist Democrat, nicely ingrained with Wall Street and the Fed Reserve boys. Good talker ( like Kennedy, like Clinton ) and probably a really nice man. Oh, and he happens to be a black man. Well, not really. You see, his mom was white, and he was raised by white folks. Yet, to the voters, for and against, and to the media, who do the bidding of those rich guys, Obama is black. Why the need for a black president? Well, after they've ruined the economy for 90% of us, things may get testy to say the least. Who usually gets it the worst during hard times? The minorities, right? Unfortunately, black Americans , proportionately, have a higher % of low income folks.

When things get real bad, the rich guys, the ones behind guarded and gated communities, do not want too many food riots or too much street violence. They need order to continue to rule ( duh , like New World Order ? ) And make more and more money and power. So, get yourself a nice, well spoken ( so called ) black president, to get on the air and calm everyone down. Get it?

So, what is a 'wasted vote '? Perhaps, the proverbial 'shoe 'is on the other foot. Perhaps those who continue to vote for candidates that do not have the voter's best interests at heart, perhaps that is the 'wasted vote '. They tell you that to vote from principle for someone who cannot win is the 'wasted vote '. Those who want McCain say " Oh, your vote for the Libertarian or Constitution Party candidate is really a vote for Obama. " The Democrats tell you " Oh, a vote for Nader or the Green Party candidate is a vote for McCain. "

Lesser of two evils theory. Yet, the only way to really and finally change American politics is for folks to vote on principle. Without our principles, we belong back in the jungle. Now comes the real dilemma for Americans. Is voting enough? A resounding no! Voting is a right and even a privilege. The more important task for we Americans who truly care about our country, is to voice our concerns.

We need to stand up and speak out whenever our government or our fellow citizens act in a manner contrary to our constitution and its laws and freedoms. When our leaders do injustice to others, or to our own citizens, we need to protest. When some of our citizens exploit or injure or become greedy in actions, not just in thought, we need to protest. To sit back and simply 'vent 'behind closed doors is what they do in totalitarian societies, not in democratic republics like ours. We cannot simply pull a lever for some candidate and 'hope for the best '. That is what these 2 parties have counted on for seemingly forever.

No, Americans must demand action on key issues of life, liberty and the future of our republic. Think about it, and become someone of influence , even if just by standing on a street corner once a week. Do it!!
