Twitter Valued Billions of Dollar

One of the social networks that are popular today, Twitter, valued around 3.7 billion U.S. dollars, increase one billion dollars from the previous year, and twice when compared with New York Times, Friday (17/12).

The company launched their new value after receiving 200 million dollars to continue to grow without having to float itself on the stock market. Compared to Facebook, Twitter itself is far behind. Currently, Facebook itself is worth 45 billion U.S. dollars.

Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers, one of the well known joint investors in Silicon Valley, has led the current investment announcement on Thursday (16/12).

Microblogging service online said, Twitter has had at least 190 million users per month. It adds two entepreneur success, Mike McCue and David Rosenblatt, the ranks of directors.

The move comes two months after four-year-old company was handed the chief executive to Dick Costolo, architect of the new advertising efforts on Twitter, which is a sign that making money is the priority for that service.

With many funds provided by investors, management of Twitter is focusing on hire more employees, as well as add more features than worrying about how to make money.

Company based in San Francisco that now employs about 350 people, and pay three times greater than the beginning. Most of the income of Twitter so far obtained from the agreement provided by Google, Microsoft Bing and other Internet services that have better access to the message service. During these eight months, Twitter has gradually allow ads appear in the middle of the chat service.
