April Fools day is upon us once again. When will we learn to begin distinguishing truth from fiction? When will the vast majority of Americans realize what so many around the world already know? That being the truth or rather the untruth about 911 and the invasion and occupation of Iraq. If only more Americans would read even just a few of the myriad of books, and watch one or two of the well researched documentaries regarding what really went down on 911 and the run-up to invading Iraq.
Truth!
Without it no society can survive. Germany under the Nazi regime rewrote and prostituted history. The ' Big Lie ' , as Hitler called it, was able to narcotize and numb the masses into subservience and blind obedience.
I remember watching the fine documentary " Loose Change " about 911. One clip always comes to mind. It showed three NYC fireman, guys with tons of experience in the department, as they were viewing, on live television, the first tower going down. One fireman looked at the others and, with his hand moving out and in as his arm went down from his shoulder: " Boom Boom Boom , did you see that?." Another fireman quickly answered : " Controlled demolition! " They all nodded in agreement.
So, let's for the moment forget the overwhelming slew of ( well researched) details of that day, in NYC, at the Pentagon and in the fields of Pennsylvania. Just this one incident by itself , validated by three lifetime experts in such matters, should stimulate anyone's interest. That being how in the heck could Al Queda get access to the two towers to place so much explosive material into both infrastructures?
It would have had to have taken many many hours , under complete cover of scrutiny , for anyone to do such intricate positioning of such materials. One would need to have had a great deal of training , obvious military training, to accomplish it. A whole team would be needed to perform such a task, again under a cover of total invisibility from Trade Towers security.
Truth!

We , most of us anyhow, now know that the facts we were fed about Iraq and Saddam Hussein regarding WMD and links to Bin Laden were totally false. Of course, the spin put out by the White House (and DOD under Rumsfeld ) was that the CIA and its intelligence was at fault. Again, how many books and articles have to be written before the majority of America realizes what most of the world has known for over five years?
That being that elements of the Bush/ Cheney administration, in concert with their British cousins, the Blair government, knew the truth about Iraq and Hussein , and still forged ahead with their War. The Downing Street Memo ( Minutes ) of July 2002 spelled it all out: The US planned to invade Iraq and were going to ' cook the intelligence ' to justify the ' threat ' that in actuality did not exist.
Regime change!
And Blair and his cronies went along. The only caveat that Blair insisted upon was that Bush go to the UN to get approval. So, they sent Colin Powell ( who recently has rediscovered his conscience ) to act out the theater of the absurd for millions, if not billions, around the world .
Untruth! Well, most of you know the rest.
Remember, as a kid, they told you some outrageous lie, and you got all exited and wound up to do something about whatever urgency they created? Then suddenly: " April Fools!!!" Everybody.... even you ....laughed and laughed. Not now folks. No, now is the time for the one thing that ultimately will reclaim our republic from the con men and the hustlers who now own and operate it.
Truth!
My role model said it best : " The truth shall set you free. " Stand up and speak out for truth. Investigate and become informed. Find others who agree that truth is paramount. Hold signs on street corners and outside the offices of your congressperson. Demand the truth! Remember that "Silence in the face of tyranny gives it license."
Don't be an April fool this year.... and the next.... and the next.
