 Meet the New Boss

I just finished subjecting myself to the nauseating experience of listening to a bunch tyrant propaganda, also known as the "inaugural ceremonies," celebrating the coronation of Barrack Obama as the new King of America.  (To call him a "President" would imply that this is still a constitutional republic, and that there are limits on what "government" can do to us.  It's not, and there aren't, so I'll call him what he is: a king.)

In short, as in every such ridiculous exhibitions of authority-worship, there was a long stream of lies, and not a speck of truth to be found.  In the preliminary bunk, Diane Feinstein, subject-disarmer and communist extraordinaire, was nice enough to inform us all that "the freedom of the people to choose their leaders" is the heart of liberty.  That one insane sentence deserves many pages of rebuttal, but for now I'll just say:  to call those who forcibly control you "leaders" is insane, and it is utterly idiotic to think that choosing WHICH person will enslave you counts as being free.

Even the "invocation" had a fair number of similar insane contradictions, such as the pastor hoping that Obama will "lead us with humility."  How, exactly, can someone who wants to rule the world, and who thinks he has the right to forcibly rob and control the rest of us, do so with "humility"?  What a looney notion.  The pastor further hoped aloud that we would show "civility in our attitudes, even when we differ."

By itself, that would be fine, but in the context of appointing someone to use the VIOLENCE of the state to COERCE us all into doing what HE wants, it's a little beyond hypocritical.  For example, the thugs in the federal government and I "differ" on where the money I earn should be spent.  Most of you know how "civil" they were in dealing with that difference of opinion (if you don't, go buy my book at http://www.kickingthedragon.com/), and the Obama regime will be no different.  The pastor also opined that as Americans, we are united by our "commitment to freedom."  That was a little much to take, considering that he was surrounded by the biggest club of megalomaniac control freaks on the planet, while throngs of stupid peasants cheered at the prospect of their own enslavement.

Then came the main course:  the king himself, lying through his teeth about what he believes, what he wants, and what he intends to do.  Like a good tyrant, he constantly used words like "we," "us" and "our" (about a hundred times in the relatively short speech).  He spoke of "the task before us," and "the challenges we face."  Most bizarrely, he spoke about what great things "free men and women can achieve."

(Article Continues Below)

I'm sorry that the American people are so stupid that this needs to be explained (again), but "government" is not about cooperating, or working together, and it certainly isn't about free people doing anything.  It is about one relatively small group of people, a RULING class, FORCIBLY robbing and controlling everyone else, coercing them into behaving the way the masters want them to behave.

I suspect that lots of critics will harp on the merely stupid things Obama did, like saying that "forty-four Americans have now taken the oath" of office (apparently the guy has never heard of re- elections), or botching up the oath.  But his stupidity is not what scares me, and is not what should scare you.  His worship of authority, disdain for the individual, and plans to enslave the planet are what should scare you.  Of course, he doesn't use those terms to describe what he plans on doing.  He talks about the market needing to be controlled by the "watchful eye" of government.

He speaks out against "greed and irresponsibility," which again means government taxes and government regulation.  And he came pretty close to coming right out and admitting that he intends to rob you, to give handouts to the rest of the world.  He also couldn't resist saying, "as much as government can do, and must do," before saying how the people can accomplish stuff.  And, just to throw in a touch of fascism to the otherwise purely socialist tone of the rant, he talked about "loyalty and patriotism," the "spirit of service."

Talk about "irrational exuberance."  Well, as I fish for something optimistic to say here, all I can think of is this:  I hope all those duped people REMEMBER how excited, enthusiastic and optimistic they feel right now.  When their messiah ends up being just another destructive crook who further exploits and robs the country, maybe they'll figure out that some things matter more than charisma and "hope."  Then again, they probably won't.

P.S.  Hey, I screwed it up that time. Obama really is the 44th King - I mean, President.  It's not the 44th presidential term, but the 44th president.  Shame on me.
