As far as her political affiliation, she has been a member of both the Republican Party as well as the Democratic Party.  Yes, that may seem strange.  Presently, she is an independent with no party affiliation.  Mary strongly believes that everyone should be an independent - because our country was founded on independence.

Her favorite books are any written by Clive Cussler and Patricia Cornwell.  Favoritemusical groups are a toss-up between the Rolling Stones and the Beatles.  Mary is 49 years old with two wonderful teenage children who keep her busy.

Having read many great quotes, Mary narrows it down to two favorites - both from Benjamin Franklin.  In one he said, "It is the first responsibility of every citizen to question authority." And, "They that can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety"  Those are two paramount quotes everyone should be reminded of.
