Just how can any nation identify a breach of allegiance?

March 2, 2007
by Robert T. Melaccio Sr.

In the first part of this article we examined some questions that confront modern society and the different perspectives one places on the events that lead to this question. In that article we stated that the very fabric, culture and values of a nation saturated with peoples with different cultures, values and religions literally change the nature of that society to where that society is no longer recognized or even the same.

Now I will say it again and often. I am not against legal immigration - I am not against the Global dream. I am concerned with what harms the fabric of this nation and its people. And how it is being implemented.

Now here is where the test and choice comes in.  Do the citizens of any nation care to maintain their culture, value system and that thing recognized as belonging to their heritage and is it worth it to them? If the answer is no then please stop reading it does not matter to you where you are on this planet.

Certainly America is known and recognized as the United States of America. However, we are part of and belong to the continent of America. On this continent are many different and diverse cultures and nations. These cultures cling in pride to their national heritage.  However, since we are the ?melting pot" of the world why is it that we are expected to absorb and conform to their perspective of what their America should be and perceived? One might ask quite fairly, does that happen in their respective country? In their respective nation they are starving and no one, religious or otherwise and no matter how well known they are or even thought of raises one sound or voice. I know Jesus had an answer to that in the Temple and at the judgment.

Oh you say that is because we are a nation of freedom and should open our arms to all. No doubt about that. We are also supposedly a nation of law, as the politicians like to reiterate when running for office. However, is it unfair to expect any immigrant [and by the way many of the people being addressed herein are illegal] should not conform to that countries culture, laws, fabric and ideals? Why the exception? Why Selective Application of the law? Rhetorically, one might ask if there could there be another agenda?

If you were to travel to any nation on the earth you would be subject to their law. Are we not to expect the same here? To use another example, if you travel to a Muslim country you are not only required to observe their law but religious law.

Then what is it about us that say we must give away our values, culture, identity, and heritage? Are not our laws, the land of freedom and opportunities laws, valid to observe. Have they not served this nation since its inception?

As example, many Latino's are so proud of their heritage they will not conform to the language of the land but will continue to use the language of their country of origin. There is nothing wrong with this from the perspective of heritage except, if we use America as an example, why are Americans forced to use Spanish? I'm of another nationality and why not have my language taught and used? The answer lies in the money. Spanish has inundated society in America until perhaps we all may be required to speak it.

Also, allegedly, it has been reported that in some parts of the Border States the Mexican Flag flies ahead of the American? Do you know there are all sorts of free help for people of Spanish language and illegal workers get all sorts of aide with little to no questions asked. Think not then you have had your head in a fish bowl.

(Article Continues Below)

Now many Senators want to pass "Comprehensive Reform" which will grant amnesty for those who literally broke the law. They are even going to reward them for their hard work. They call them good decent people. I assume if someone knows a bookie on the corner, who has a family as well, is in reality good decent people? Why do they incarcerate them while ignoring the other? All they are doing is running numbers or taking bets.

The answer is simple and plain as sunlight. The bookie makes money the government and business doesn't get. Oh they will say it is a plague on the poor. Well what about those store fronts where legal betting is allowed? Don't they impact the poor? If one looks at the illegal worker you see nothing but exploitation and the subsequent commentary that follows alludes to the compassion and morality of the need to help them stay.

Once again I'll point you to the first article for clarification of oaths, protection of law, etc.  Once again I'll point out exploitation, which is a fact that is not hidden.  As for me I look at the character of the supporter and their track record and not the book, the name or the cover.

Here is another recent example to ponder. We were forged by or forefathers as a Christian Nation. Christmas has been celebrated since conception. We now have the city of Tampa, county of Hillsborough voting to stop Christmas recess for that holiday and they have the b____ to say they are not doing it to be politically correct.

Churches in certain parts of the country can't wring their church bells but Mosques can yell out their call all day long.  We now celebrate everyone's holiday because we are evidently in my opinion afraid to offend.

Go into any classroom across the land and see for yourself what holidays are studied.

Now I myself have no problem with anyone enjoying or celebrating his or her respective holiday. However that does not mean we have to recognize it here in this country. That's bigotry you say. Well no it is not it is just truth. You see in any part of the world they do not allow your festival or holiday to trump those of their nation and culture. Certainly in some you must do it quietly or secretly. Here at least you can celebrate within the law. However, you are also free not to celebrate Christmas while also reaping the benefits.

Now to close many will be upset with what I have written. My wife and family are immigrants who came here the legal way. They learned the language, swore ALLIGANCE and still have family waiting the legal way over 25 years to come.

In my opinion I label it all sin when these facts are ignored. Its like the pervert raping the child who says there is nothing wrong with it they have done it throughout history. So in closing I have no problem with immigration. While I have problem with a worker program that allows amnesty I have submitted a workable plan and I do mean workable to our representatives, their think tanks and some of those highly respected "conservative" magazines and news outlets.

Yes, I haven't heard a sound. Why, read 2001 an American Paradigm. When I wrote it was a fictional tale. It has now become more of a prophecy.

The President made a statement the other day, which basically sums it all up as to what is happening. That is "Money always trumps peace". That said, rhetorically one must ask just who are these people who have the power to make deals that even our congress knows nothing about and is powerless to stop? It should be scary to us all?

I'M NOT SAYING THAT. IT HAS BEEN IN THE PRESS FOR DAYS.

So "My fellow", who ever we are at this point in time, citizens of the America's I guess, just what is acceptable to you is the question at hand. Do we want to maintain American values, culture heritage or does it even matter?

I for one have no problem with the one world system. What I have a problem with is equity, the rule of law as applied fairly and on behalf of our citizens and not illegal law breakers regardless of the name attached for political reasons and those who swore an oath before God to and get this "preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States.

I close with: are you sure these very people who are entering our borders do not have harm on their agenda? Just what are we sure of?
