It was four o'clock sun still bright and warm to feel, my personal attendant Charlotte was inside watching Oprah Winfrey as she normally does about that time.  She called me excitedly and said, "Zen you have got to come see this."  I was reluctant to to leave the warm embrace of afternoon light but situated myself on the front porch so that I could hear the show while continuing my work outside.  Oprah had as guests Jenny McCarthy and Holly Peete and they were discussing the topic of having a child with autism. 

There is a quiet epidemic in America, over 40 million mothers and families are dealing with the epidemic of having a child or several children with autistic characteristics or symptoms of Asperger spectrum disorders.  I having been an anti-vaccine, anti-thimerosol advocate for many years became keenly interested in the show when Jenny McCarthy openly blamed the vaccinations that her child received at 18 months for stealing the life out of her child.  She said that once her child received those vaccines that it was like lights out for her young son, Evan.

I became really excited because finally the truth was coming out and on a show that reaches 50 million families across the world.  I have been an anti-vaccine advocate ever since I wrote an article on the subject for a disability magazine years ago. 

In that article entitled, "Vaccine Preservative Thimerosal and the Destruction of an Entire Generation of Americans Kids," I detailed the fact that Eli Lilly had known since initial testing of thimerosol in the 1930s that there was and is no safe application for the ingredient.  However, a cover-up of the results ensued and Eli Lily successfully lobbied the FDA to be allowed to market thimerosol to American consumers.  Over decades now they have successfully expanded the product base in which thimerosal is used.  However it should never have come to market to begin with. 

"Internal documents reveal that Eli Lilly, which first developed thimerosal, knew from the start that its product could cause damage -- and even death -- in both animals and humans. In 1930, the company tested thimerosal by administering it to twenty-two patients with terminal meningitis, all of whom died within weeks of being injected -- a fact Lilly didn't bother to report in its study declaring thimerosal safe. In 1935, researchers at another vaccine manufacturer, Pittman-Moore, warned Lilly that its claims about thimerosal's safety "did not check with ours." Half the dogs Pittman injected with thimerosal-based vaccines became sick, leading researchers there to declare the preservative "unsatisfactory as a serum intended for use on dogs."

Another undeniable fact that thimerosol is the cause of autism is the fact that an entire population of people exist right here in the America that do not have exposure to or problems with autism.  While vaccine makers scramble to protect themselves from such allegations, Dan Olmstead did a series of articles for United Press International, entitled "The Age of Autism" in which he investigated the Amish population of Ohio and Pennsylvania, searching for medical staff or families comfortable with talking about the autistic experience.

He wanted to know if the Amish community would reflect the national average of 1-in-166 when it came to neurological Autism Spectrum Disorders. The Amish do not vaccinate their children so if the thimerosol in the vaccines is and was not responsible for the autism epidemic among the general public, and some genetic factor is involved in the passing of autism from one generation to the other; there would and should be a similar ratio of autism and Asperger's spectrum disorders reflected in the Amish population. 

Olmstead wrote on June 14, 2005,  - Readers of this column have reacted strongly to our series of reports on autism among the Amish. So far, we have found only a handful of cases of autism and have quoted some experts who think it is nearly non-existent in this group." The Amish of Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, refuse to immunize their infants. Olmsted calculated that there should be 130 autistics among the Amish. He found four - one exposed to high levels of mercury from a power plant and the three other children that had received their vaccines.

Why on Earth the medical establishment would mandate injecting through vaccinations the second most toxic substance of the planet besides those that are radioactive into a child that has not even developed an immunity just absolutely makes no sense.  The fact that parents simply trust the medical doctors without researching the ingredients in the vaccines is also equally ridiculous.  Anyone that studies the ingredients contained within any vaccine but especially those tainted with thimerosol , would not if they had any lick of common sense knowingly inject these posions into ones own body but especially not their child's. 

I know myself beyond a shadow of a doubt that thimerosal also leads to dementia and Alzheimer's in the elderly and that all of us have heavy metal toxicity to some degree.  The great thing about mercury toxicity is that it is easily treatable through a noninvasive form of chelation therapy in which a cream or mud is applied to the skin, allowed to dry, and in that way draws out heavy metals through the pores resulting in the detoxification of the body.  Chelation has been used to treat lead poisoning since the 1960s. 

I have been trying to share this information with people for years but was confronted with resistance every step of the way.  I finally resorted to just putting the information out there and hoping the American public would catch on.  That is why I was overjoyed to see this information coming to light on the Oprah Winfrey show especially since millions watch her every day.  I was excited for the mothers and the families and individuals that would be helped by this information. 

I knew however that the fight was just beginning for Jenny McCarthy.  Now that she and her organization had challenged the powers that be, they would be targeted, vilified, and harrased much like I was when I came out on this issue.  It wasn't but a couple days after Jenny openly blamed vaccinations for her son's autism that the CDC released another bogus study backing up two previous bogus studies which claim that there is no link between autism and vaccinations.

What Jenny, Holly, and Oprah might not know is that the CDC is knowingly lying and being purposefully deceptive on this issue.  Melissa Ross released an article called, "CDC Knew of Potential Link between Vaccines, Autism"  in which she details how "the Centers for Disease Control published a study repudiating any possible link between thimerosal and developmental problems like autism in children while at the same time knowingly had data supporting such a link-- but kept it from the public."  Documents released through the Freedom of Information Act, detail the transcript of a meeting held in June of 2000 between members of the CDC, the FDA, and representatives from the vaccine industry. 

The group discusses the results of a February 2000 study that finds a significant association between exposure to thimerosal-containing vaccines, and developmental issues like autism in children.  Some of the comments--  "There are just a host of neurodevelopmental data that would suggest we've got a serious problem."  "My gut feeling? It worries me. I don't want my grandson to get a thimerosal-containing vaccine until we know better what's going on."  "We are in a bad position from the standpoint of defending any lawsuits."  Finally--  "We have asked you to keep this information confidential."

And that's what happened. Three years later, the CDC published a study in the November 2003 issue of "Pediatrics" contradicting the earlier results, and clearing thimerosal of any link to neurological problems in children.  Instead of coming clean the CDC with the blessing of vaccine manufacturers decided upon a course of action to protect big pharma by covering up the link between autism and vaccines.  The vaccine manufacturers then lobbied Bill Frist to quietly slip in immunity for them into a Homeland Security bill passed several years back. 

"Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist, who has received $873,000 in contributions from the pharmaceutical industry, has been working to immunize vaccine makers from liability in 4,200 lawsuits that have been filed by the parents of injured children. On five separate occasions, Frist has tried to seal all of the government's vaccine-related documents -- including the Simpsonwood transcripts -- and shield Eli Lilly, the developer of thimerosal, from subpoenas.

In 2002, the day after Frist quietly slipped a rider known as the "Eli Lilly Protection Act" into a homeland security bill, the company contributed $10,000 to his campaign and bought 5,000 copies of his book on bioterrorism. The measure was repealed by Congress in 2003 -- but earlier this year, Frist slipped another provision into an anti-terrorism bill that would deny compensation to children suffering from vaccine-related brain disorders." said Robert Kennedy Jr. in his article "Deadly Immunity."

This immunity prevents them from being sued by families and individuals that have suffered unimaginable disruption to their lives and the lives of their children.  You really cannot put a price on that and yet they were successful in getting it signed into law.  This action alone should let you know that there is something to the link between autism and vaccines.  If there is no link why the need for immunity and why specifically would President Bush veto a bill that would ban mercury in flu vaccines for children.

The White House stated that President Bush would veto the FY 2008 HHS-Labor-Education Appropriations Bill because of the cost and "objectionable provisions" such as a measure to ban the use of childhood flu vaccines that contain thimerosal.  An Autism advocacy group Safe Minds warns: "Under the current administration, mercury has been and will continue to be knowingly injected into the youngest of American citizens.

The controversial mercury-containing preservative thimerosal has been linked by thousands of parents as being the cause of their children's mercury poisoning and autism." The flu vaccine, which continues to be manufactured with mercury, is recommended for all pregnant women, infants and children despite the fact that the Institute of Medicine in 2001 recommended against the policy of exposing these same sensitive groups to thimerosal containing vaccines.

On May 21, 2003, after a three year investigation, "The Mercury in Medicine Report" was released by the House Committee on Government Reform, and stated in part:  "Thimerosal used as a preservative in vaccines is likely related to the autism epidemic. This epidemic in all probability may have been prevented or curtailed had the FDA not been asleep at the switch regarding a lack of safety data regarding injected thimerosal and the sharper eyes of infant exposure to this known neurotoxin. The public health agencies' failure to act is indicative of institutional malfeasance for self protection and misplaced protectionism of the pharmaceutical industry."

The Congressional report also said that the CDC, due to its "biases against theories regarding vaccine-induced autism," had chosen to fund researchers "who also worked for vaccine manufacturers to conduct population-based immunologic studies. . ." and stated:  "The CDC in general and the National Immunization Program are particularly conflicted in their duty to monitor the safety of vaccines, while also charged with the responsibility of purchasing vaccines for resale as well as promoting increased immunization rates."

I was thrilled to see Jenny McCarthy pushing the autism/mercury issue on Larry King a day after the Oprah show.  I felt hopeful that the mainstream would have to readdress the story.  And they did, many news sites invited discussion on their forums, so I began posting articles I had written about this issue for years everywhere I could find a discussion about the topic.  I kept checking back on the sites I posted information to see if my articles would lead to any real dialogue about the issue but noticed that about four hours after posting information for others to learn the things that I know, I found my posts totally scrubbed and eradicated from the sites. 

This happened to me on both ABC and MSNBC news bulletin boards.  Like years before I was censored.  I even posted a couple of times to the same bulletin boards to see if they would scrub my work again but this time I took screenshots to see just how long it would take them.  They did quick work as my post only lasted four to five hours before they were wiped clean and the information disappeared.

Those that know thimerosol causes autism like myself were attacked as conspiracy theorists and paranoid whack jobs by the mainstream press and whereas our posts are quickly scrubbed, those posts that support the CDC mainstream position quickly accumulated on the boards.  I can't believe that people still think that the mainstream press is out there to provide you data to be an informed citizenry.  Wake up people.  They're all about controlling what is known, keeping the people stupid, and fleecing us for as much money as they can.  Big pharma is a big budget advertiser, and we all know that the customer is always a number one.  Do your homework people - your lives, but especially your children's lives, depend on it.
