I Voted Yes

I ran across a poll on the Internet that asked if I thought that Radical right wing groups are busy posting on the Internet hate stuff about Obama. I voted yes. But I wasn't sure by groups, whether the poll poster meant working together as a network, planned talking points group. If that was meant to be the question I would have voted no. But if the question meant a group of non-associated people independently writing a common thought process, then that is why I voted yes. And I did it for the following reasons:

I really feel that many who oppose Obama and claim to oppose him for reasons other than race are really lying - race is prevalent in America, these people just don't want to reveal their true reason for opposing Obama.

Now having said that I am for neither Obama nor McCain. I started back before the 2004 election trying to get Independent groups (about 135 of them) to join in common cause for the good of America. I asked them to be Americans - to lay aside their prejudices for the good of America, the land of our children.

I did this because I feel that this country is sliding into an Oligarchy with increasing speed and I feel that every election that goes by without reversing the trend puts our children and grandchildren into an ever increasing totalitarian state. The landscape in that country is dark. The rule there will be by lies and deceit. And lying about why you choose a candidate is part of the problem.

Also forming my thought process was an excellent post, a Commentary by Paul Craig Roberts that seems to dovetail with this question - Hegemony Everywhere But Home. Why does the American citizen not realize that their lack of action against an overreaching government encourages more of the same?

As an example, recently I was looking at McCain's choice for Ohio Campaign Manager and Financier, Carl Lindren, a person involved with AUC, a United States named Columbian Terrorist organization, a man that is on indictment sheets for contributing to a Terrorist misbehavior, an arms dealer to AUC and such; this McCain corruption tie is not heard on the Main Stream Media, by anyone, simply because it doesn't get printed or spoken on the media.

And this is just one of the myriad of nefarious activities that McCain is involved in by way of choosing people like Lindner, Charlie Black, and Doug Goodyear and then there is his personal involvement in the Keating Scandal, Parsley, Hagee, and on and on.

And yet we have silence from the Media. Seems the MSM lead stories instead are all about whether Obama is "Too Presidential" and McCain is presented as "Oppressed by Obama who is presenting the Race Card". No mention of McCain's past and present, except lauding him as a war hero. A past and present which should be a red flag to all concerned Americans when electing a new President.

I feel the encroaching Oligarchy mentioned above needs to restrict whom they allow in office. So they support an old doddering fool, who can't really think straight, who has a history of corruption, over someone they are not sure can be so easily manipulated. They need to support the Bush like person, think McCain, -That dolt has helped their corruptive influence immensely.

Will McCain's past and present immoral partners be brought up in the Mainstream Media? I am beginning to think not. And it is not because those ties to corruption are not true, they certainly are true. What does this say about the Media? Our election process? What does it say about the future of the American Dream?
