I well remember the first time that I watched "South Park". As I haven't a television, I was in my local bar. I had been advised to stop in that Wednesday night to catch the show.
The show was simply insane and I loved it. That particular episode portrayed Kathy Lee Gifford in a protective glass bell jar. (They treated celebrities more kindly in those earlier seasons!)
It's funny when a cartoon characterizes a renowned figure as encased in a glass bubble.
It's damned frightening when the current occupant of the White House really is so encased!!!!
The Bushling has given fewer press conferences than any President in United States history.
Those who dare to differ with him on policy issues have been ejected from public meetings.
We don't really need to ask why.
Ignorant, undereducated, ill-read, ill-informed, disinterested, delusional, entertaining himself with fart jokes and heeding otherworldly voices that urge him to blow things up, he poses a public relations disaster for his handlers and puppetmasters.
So too, as the world is shielded from the nakedness of the Emperor, he is shielded from the world.
Like Prince Siddhartha in his father's gated garden, he is carefully protected from exposure to opposing views and the bloody consequences of his mischeivous policies.

How ironic then, that a high-profile Senator and Presidential candidate within the "opposition" Party, has moved into a glass bubble of her own.
Last year, that bubble protected her from having to engage in a public debate on the Iraq War and foreign policy with he opponent in the New York Democratic primary.
Now, that she has decided to "Let the Conversation Begin", we see her addressing carefully vetted questions and we, the public, learn little more than that her favorite films are "Wizard of Oz," "Casablanca" and "Out of Africa".
Senator Hillary Clinton is not stupid, ignorant nor unable to handle herself.
We know what the Bushling is hiding.
But why is Senator Clinton running for cover from the onset of her campaign?
The question alone is alarming.
It's stunning to see the extent to which DLC-favorites within the Democratic Party will emulate the very worst aspects of the current GOP and the Dubya Administration.
Oh, and perhaps, like the Bushling, we can refer to the Senator as "Dubya". However, in her case, the "W" stands for "Wal-Mart".
We can do better than enthrone Hillary, Inc. in the Oval Office.
We must!
