A native Californian, Heather Wokusch has traveled to over 30 countries and lived in eight. Her political awakening came in 1986 when she spent a year doing development work in the Philippines and witnessed the People Power Revolution firsthand. Heather's a former jazz singer, has an MA in clinical psychology and more than 20 years of experience in education. She currently works as a journalist, educator and cross-cultural trainer, sharing her life with husband Norbert and their four cats.
