Abstraction \ab-strak-shen\ n. c. purely imaginary or visionary idea. Webster's New Ideal Dictionary, 1978.
This is the world we live in. Purely abstract. A world envisioned, imagined and wishful and not so wishful. To be in the place where we think of ourselves. A place where we imagine we are somewhere that we are not. A world where life is surreal and surreal is life. A place where Americans dare not tread. The foreign frontier of our boundaries. Beyond this, we step to the drumbeats of estrangement.
The cacophony of our existence has become a world of seclusion, delusion and denial. We live in a world of wishful thinking. Left wing, right wing, your wing or even a spicy chicken wing. What is all the argument? Why all the infighting? Why all the hostility of compose? We, the American people, have lost our way. We have become the filtered water of our own making. We let this happen to us. By trusting our hearts, we have elected it from decades past. Now, we pay the price of the votes of our fore-parents. Now we face the future of our grandchildren. We decide, right now, right here, where we go.

Are we Republican, Democrat or maybe something different? Jeeze, how did we get so far into a two party system? Maybe I am a Socialist, or Communist, maybe a Environmentalist or Populist? Hell, who am I? This is the problem we face as voters. Like sheep, we all continue to be led astray. If I am not the two major parties, then I am a subversive, abstract, detracted monster of being against all that is American. The writer of the book of Chronicles I in the Christian Bible states 'and He permitted no man to oppress them.' If this edict from five thousand years or so ago has held true, then how should we react to the world that swarms around us? Should we abide by these words and say "No." Should we dare say no to the world? Should we dare say "no" to our State? Should we dare say "No" to our city? Should we dare say "No?"
If God himself has said that no man should be oppressed, if Jesus the Christ and many others have said 'that no man should be oppressed,' then why do we lay ourselves to sleep and slumber while the world of controlling factions charge against us?
We have a weapon. We have our voice.
It has been suggested in science that a pure rock can be decoded for sound and hear a recording of it's history. Yes, that does sound far-fetched, but could one imagine? If sounds were truly recorded in rocks? All the conversations of mankind from beginning to now recorded in a stone? Not to thump a bible, but, the words written "....the rocks would cry out..." is an eliciting thought.
We The People, have one last chance. We the People have one last shot. We the people have a glimmer of hope. We the people have a glimmer of chance. We, the People, have a flash of a chance, a flash in the darkness like flint. We have a chance to turn our own present darkness into light.
We still have the opportunity to grasp what has been torn from our own calloused hands. Did we work for this and this for our children? We can make a stand. We can take a stand. We can say, We are the People, we can grab back what belongs to us. Keep in mind, bureaucrats are only bureaucrats by one vote at a time. We can say for ourselves that we fought a good fight and our country will never forget that there is more than a party affiliation, but a people affiliation. There is more than a political ideation. There is more than a communal occupation. There is a common thread of hearts and minds that say "We will be a Flash in the night and a Fire in the Day." Can we dare to imagine? People so strong that their own government fears for their "make believe" jobs? A people ready to take charge, revolutionize and redeploy a true democracy. How unfathomable.
