Auction house Sotheby’s will auction the largest pink diamond in Geneva, Switzerland. It also has the largest diamond dirilik by Guinness World Records.
Pink diamond comes from a distorted crystal structure due to high pressure, resulting in a unique crystal structure that absorbs green and blue light, and realize the color pink. The process that rarely happens, which makes this diamond has a high price and very rare.
As quoted by Reuters on Monday (25/10), Sotheby’s estimate of 24.78 carat diamond will be released at a price of U.S. $ 38 million or equivalent to Rp 338 billion.
