Case of E. Coli Confirmed in Bordeaux

The presence case of E. Coli is confirmed in one patient among the seven people hospitalized on Thursday night, June 23th in Bordeaux, France, from the announcement of health minister, Xavier Bertrandon on Friday. “There is a case of E. Coli that is confirmed, but other cases are thoroughly investigated at the National Reference Center,” said the minister.

“We have three people at the university hospital and four people in the military hospital in the appropriate services,” he said. Asked about the severity of infections, Xavier Bertrand said “It was the doctor’s say precisely (…). We must let the doctors give the information in a timely manner.”

Rowling has responded to rising speculation about the nature of her new project and announced POTTERMORE: a single website, free of charge and free to use, which is building an exciting online experience in between the readers of her highly successful Harry Potter novel series and in partnership with Sony.

The announcement date was announced by J.K. Rowling after the revelation of the website name found through online search of her letters and a web page displaying “soon” which received over one million visitors in 36 hours by following its launch.

POTTERMORE will open an online store where people can buy an exclusive Harry Potter eBooks, in partnership with the publishers around the world of J.K. Rowling website will eventually destined to become a reading online experience, extending the relevance of Harry Potter to new generations of readers, while remaining attractive to current fans. As the developing shop, POTTERMORE is planned to include other products designed specifically for fans of Harry Potter, offering a potential market for Sony products and related services POTTERMORE. In the beginning of March 2011, Japan was hit by an earthquake that generated a powerful tsunami. Ravaging the coast, it has produced a considerable amount of toxic waste and debris that have been carried down in part to the Pacific Ocean.

In Soweto, from the anti-apartheid struggle home of, the First Lady of United States Michelle Obama on Wednesday urge the young peoples of African to take their destiny by making fruitful legacy of the liberation movement in South Africa.

Michelle Obama is invoking the heroes legacy of the struggle South African liberation movement and the civil rights of America. She speaking at the Catholic Church of Regina Mundi which is a symbolic place of the township on the outskirts of Johannesburg, which served as a refuge of militants fighting against the rule of white minority.

“This is the legacy of the independence generation and generation of freedom. And you, young people!! Today you are the heirs of the blood, the sweat, sacrifice and love,” she said in front of thousands peoples.

The question now is: What would you do with this legacy?

“You can be the generation who puts to an end the HIV / AIDS, the generation that is fighting not only the disease but the stigma of the disease,” said Michelle Obama.

“You can be the generation that holds your leaders to responsible for an open and honest governance at all levels of governance that eradicate the corruption.”

Michelle Obama finished her speech by a resounding “Yes we can” (yes, you can), the favorite slogan of her husband, U.S. President Barack Obama.

It was her first speech in public since her arrival in South Africa on Monday night for a six-day trip that will also lead her to Botswana.

Wednesday is devoted to Soweto, a symbolic township that is a particularly model of the black neighborhoods modernization on South Africa’s since the first democratic elections in 1994.

Michelle Obama must meet with 76 “young leaders” from all over Africa.

Her program also included the visits to the monuments of the liberation struggle of South Africa with her mother and the two of her daughters.

The White House noted that the journey of the First Lady was “directly linked” to the foreign policy of Obama administration in Africa.

Born in the United States from a Kenyan father, Obama has visited not only once sub-Saharan Africa since the beginning of his debut, Ghana in July 2009. Then he called for the continent to take charge of their own destiny and fight anti-democratic practices.
