South Korea will launch a direct rail service between Incheondan International Airport to the station in downtown of Seoul. The government hopes these measures will increase the convenience for the passengers at the airport, as well as improve competitiveness with other countries.
As reported by NHK news agency on Tuesday (28/12), before there is a direct rail Connect, the tourists who come to the Ginseng State should use the bus or the subway which takes about 70 minutes. Meanwhile, in the presence of these direct rail connection, it takes only 45 minutes journey to the center of Seoul.
About 700 people attended the opening ceremony of 60 kilometers of railway lines built by the Korea Railroad in Seoul, South Korea, today. Prime Minister Kim Hwang Sik said the Incheon will develop a communications center for northeast Asia, and enhance the establishment of an international airport.
