Christian Fascism in America

Last night I watched a Christian Fascist rant against Islamo-Fascists.  He started off his sermon with a resounding "God Bless George Bush".  This self-proclaimed voice of Christian leadership went on to say that there are only two ways to live, the Torah way, and the wrong way.  For those who don't know, the Torah is the Holy Book of Judaism.  So by his own words, this self described Christian, excluded the Christian Holy Book, the Holy Bible.

But John Hagee didn't stop there, not this self described Christian leader, he went ahead and called for the destruction of Iran.  He wants the United States to join Israel in doing preemptory bombing of that Country.  This from a man who professes to be a man of God.  And he continued to beat the drums for war against Iran, though he did pause periodically to allow the promotion of his book " Christians For Israel".

Yes, this self described Christian, John Hagee went on to say that the Hebrews never declared that Jesus wasn't the son of God, and implied that they did not reject Jesus as the Messiah!  A self claimed Christian, who supports those that do not believe that Jesus Christ is the Savior, nor the Son of God, the very bedrock of Christianity, the hope of salvation for the faithful, this man has rejected the very basic tenets of his faith, to support a Nation that espouses torture, brutality, and the denial of the very basic human needs to an occupied people.  And he calls himself a Christian.    He has many followers.  I label him a False Prophet, or better yet, a Christian Fascist.

During his sermon there was much flag waving as he called for war.  It would be difficult to tell if there were more American flags or more Israeli flags, but they were sure cheering him on, especially when he said Jerusalem belongs to the Jews and should never be divided because it was the Jews city and has always been their city, established by God.  And yes he went on to lecture about the religious fanatics, the Islamo-Fascists, blissfully unaware that he was describing them as a mirror of his own vile intentions.

From the flag waving, the cheering, and his thunderous proclamations concerning Israel, it was easy to see that he places the Nation Israel above the Nation America.  And he offers his book for sale "Christians for Israel".  I didn't see those Christians; all I saw was a lynch mob.

Aren't the Jews not currently awaiting the coming of the Messiah?  Notice I didn't state they were waiting for the return of Jesus Christ; I just question Mr. Hagee's statement that they never rejected Jesus as the Messiah.  And another of his comments really stirs it up.  John Hagee stated that Christian support for the Nation Israel is necessary for a Christian's salvation.  He then went on to infer that all who oppose Israel and the Bush Administration are ungodly!  Wow!!  I guess that means I'm ungodly-per his definition.

I have heard Mr. Hagee state that this is the End Times and that we need to be looking for the Anti-Christ and the False Prophet.  To check it out, I went to The Holy Bible, what should be Hagee's guide, to The First Epistle of John and found in Chapter two, Verse twenty-two, that those who deny Jesus Christ as the Son of God .are Anti-Christ!  Don't the Jews of the Nation Israel deny Jesus Christ as the Son of God?

By the Prophet John's definition and writing, the Jewish religion is Anti-Christ.  And from the Reverend Hagee's rantings, I get the impression that he worships those Anti-Christ people.  But aren't Christians supposed to Worship the Father and the Son?  Mr. Hagee, are you really a Christian?  Or a warmongering Christian pretender?   It fits the Reverend Hagee's Islamo-Fascist description, except for the Religion designation.  Is there such a thing as a Christian Fascist?  Maybe the Spanish Inquisition or the Crusades might have been guided by Christian Fascists.  Didn't they claim God's favor for their murdering campaigns?

Hagee passes himself off as a Preacher, a man of God, yet he associates and has fellowship with those that deny that Jesus is the Son of God.  That seems like odd Christian behavior to me.  I found in The Second Epistle of John, Verse Eleven, that to have fellowship with those who deny Jesus as the Son of God makes one complicit in the denial of Christ.  Verse Ten implores that you must turn away those Anti-Christ and False Prophets and have no words of fellowship for them so that you don't become complicit.  Mr. Hagee has not heeded this warning.

In The Second Epistle of John, Verse Seven, is written that deceivers and the Anti-Christ deny that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.  And to address that Jewish Religious tenet about whether Jesus is the Messiah, in The First Epistle of John, Chapter Four, Verse Fourteen, the Prophet John Testifies that God sent his Son to be the Savior of the world, or by definition -the Messiah.   Finally, continuing in First John Chapter Four, Verse One, will be found that Christians are supposed to question whether those that teach the word, a preacher like Hagee for example, are real Prophets of God, because as the Prophet John warns, there are many False Prophets in the world.   And those that deny Jesus to be the Son of God are False Prophets.  And followers of False Prophets will be lost.

Mr. Hagee stated that he supports the occupation of Palestine by the Nation Israel and infers that Palestinians have no right to the land and, oh yes, he proclaims his support for the Iraqi War.  There sure is a lot to digest here.  A so called Christian Preacher calling for invasion of Iran because they are an Evil Nation that is a threat to their neighbors and the United States, yet a brief study of history will find that Iran is a country that since the United States was formed in 1776, has not invaded any country or started any war.

Further they have not threatened us, but have on several occasions, offered their co-operation with the United States in opening common discussions into disparate issues, looking for peaceful settlement.  If you read up a little bit about Iran's Nuclear program, you will find that the United States was all for it, as long as American Industry was building the facilities, but when Iran turned away from the American  Corporation because of non performance, then that same Nuclear Program became an evil, or so says Bush, a friend of  the American Corporation .

Then Bush labeled them "One of the Axis of Evil".  Iran does have large Oil reserves and there are International Oil Companies that lust for that Oil.  I guess the real question here is "Does John Hagee know that Iran has large Oil deposits, that Iran has never invaded anyone in modern times, and has sought mightily to open diplomatic relations with the United States, or does he not care, is his only interest the promotion of the Nation Israel hoping to instigate the prophesied Armageddon?  Does it bother him that great suffering will occur if he were to persuade the people to invade Iran?  Wouldn't you think a Christian would be appalled by the carnage in Iraq caused by lies and deception? A war he supports?

Finally the Reverend Hagee spoke of Hamas and Hezbollah as two terrorist organizations formed to fight the new nation of Israel in 1947.  Mr. Hagee may be unaware that these two organizations were formed to resist occupying forces of their homeland, Hezbollah in 1982 in Lebanon, and Hamas in the Occupied West Bank to resist the Israeli suffering occupation of Arab land.

In the Gaza after the supervised election conducted by the United States wound up with Hamas being elected to replace the corruption filled Fatah, Israel and the United States sealed the borders and shut off all water, food, electricity, and income to the new Government of the Palestinians.  The United States and Israel were content to let those men, women, and children starve to death.  Money belonging to the Palestinians was confiscated by Israel, now up to around a Billion dollars.  So the people of Gaza couldn't even pay smugglers to bring them something to eat.  This is what Mr. Hagee approves of.

And finally Hagee told of the grafting of the Christians into the root stock from Abraham.  What I noticed he didn't say was that there was another formed from that root stock - Ishmael, whose father Abraham, cast he and his mother into the desert to please Sara.  While Hagar and Ishmael were wandering in the desert, God visited Hagar and promised her a great nation to be formed thru Ishmael.  We know that religion now as Islam.  Judaism, Christianity, and Islam all came from the same root stock.

What Hagee and the other Warmongers need to understand is that all of earth's humanity are of the same family.  And in every very large family will we find black sheep.  The False Prophets and Deceivers also come from our world family.  So do the good people.  Christian Fascists are the worst of the worst, because they believe it is their divine right to rule and rule harshly.  Hitler was a Christian Fascist.
