We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. - That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, - That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness.

"At least forty-five people were arrested on Capitol Hill Monday in a sit-in calling on Democrats to pursue the impeachment of President Bush and Vice President Dick Cheney. The demonstrators were jailed after refusing to leave the office of House Judiciary Chair John Conyers following a meeting with him. Conyers had floated the idea of impeachment last year. But House Speaker Nancy Pelosi dismissed the talk during the mid-term elections when she declared that impeachment is off the table," said Amy Goodman of Democracy Now, the day that Cindy Sheehan announced that she would challenge Nancy Pelosi for her previously uncontested congressional seat. Cindy was one of the 45 arrested at Conyers office in Washington D.C.

Sheehan was the catalyst for an impromtu vigil to Crawford, Texas, where she sat in a ditch for weeks trying to force a meeting with the decider. She had one question, "What was the noble cause that her son had died for in Iraq?" Obviously, the decider couldn't dream up a noble cause because he refused to meet with Sheehan. It wasn't 2 months earlier that Sheehan stepped away from being the 'face' of the anti-war to refocus her life and priority. Now back to challenge democratic support of Bush administration policies, Sheehan said, "The country is ripe for a change. It's going to start right here and right now." Sheehan said she would run as an independent on a platform of universal health care, making college affordable and improving ethics in the legislative and executive branches, and accountability.

I thought what better way for the American people to express their absolute disgusts with Pelosi and Democratic support of Bush administration policies than to remove by popular vote the highest-ranking Democrat for backing a policy of continuous unobstructed and unabated war advertised to not end during our life times. Not only have the Democrats extended the war without deadlines or limitations, they've given the Decider the green light to spy on American citizens. They have signed off on the illegal and immoral extension of torture, rendition, and dismantling of habeas corpus.

I called Pelosi just to say, remember Rick Santorum, remember George Allen, both of these high ranking Republican Senators thought they to were above reproach, and continued to push for policies unfavorable to popular opinion --the lost their office and the same can happen to you and all of the other bought and paid for political hacks. We the people put you into power to do one simple thing -- end the illegal and immoral war against Iraq and its people.

Prudence, indeed, will dictate that Governments long established should not be changed for light and transient causes; and accordingly all experience hath shewn that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed. But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security

We have been seven years into a war that should never have happened and should not be allowed to conclude one minute longer. The Democrats could have forced the president to utilize the money that was in the pipeline to the begin the withdrawal. They have and had the power to suspend funding the war and yet did not. They did make a big show about how hard they tried before they rolled over to assume the position. I see no better way to send a message than by voting out of office the one politician that could and did take impeachment off the table. Never before in the history of this great nation has a criminal administration ever been so deserving of impeachment as the one occupying the White House right now. Not only is she refusing to investigate this corrupt tyranny parading around as government, she is refusing to allow others like John Conyers to do it themselves.

Cindy Sheehan and has done more for America in one summer and one year then most of the lifelong politicians occupying public office in Washington, DC. We need representatives with backbone to stand up for the Constitution. We need a presence in Congress that cannot be compromised or paid off, someone like Paul Wellstone the former senator from Minnesota before his untimely 'accidental' death. All of our basic rights and freedoms are being obliterated to nonexistence. The America we grew up with is no longer the America that our children will inherit.

He has refused his Assent to Laws, the most wholesome and necessary for the public good.

What America has to realize is that there is no left right Democratic Republican Liberal conservative two-party system working together for the benefit of our great nation. There is a one party system of bought and paid for politicians bowing to the whims of the fascist corporate elite that supports the destructive open border free trade policies pushed by the Executive. The two parties are just different sides of the same coin and unless America recognizes that, citizens will not know who the enemy is and why bringing in a new party does nothing to change policy.

We need to vote out all of the lifelong politicians except maybe a few. I say vote them all out and make them re-earn our trust. It is up to the people to make the difference. I support Cindy Sheehan's efforts to oust Nancy Pelosi from her congressional seat and I support average Americans taking it upon themselves to run for office and be of public service. We must support representatives that are reflections of ourselves, who truly know the lives that we struggle with every day. As long as the game is set up so that only rich people can run for office, the people at large will never truly be represented unless by luck or by fate someone with honor, integrity should win office.

He has dissolved Representative Houses repeatedly, for opposing with manly firmness his invasions on the rights of the people.

We need an educated, invigorated citizenry to shake up the game of American politics by becoming actively involved in and knowledgeable about all the issues. We need to force them to have real debate and answer real questions. For this we need a citizen media, armed with camera and attitude for willing confrontation. We need youth involvement and empowerment. This is your world being screwed up. This is your country being destroyed. We must correct the image of America by reasserting those values and freedoms that we not so long ago represented to and were symbolic of. We cannot be a nation of torture, extraordinary rendition, indefinite detention, and coerced testimony.

He has obstructed the Administration of Justice by refusing his Assent to Laws for establishing Judiciary Powers.

The only way that this nation can once again become great, is for the people to take it upon themselves to restore order to the constitutional checks and balances between the branches of government. We must restore integrity back to the executive and judicial branches of government. We must be able to believe what our leaders say. Our leaders words must stand for something. There must be accountability. And the only way that will happen is for this sleepy citizenry to wake up from slumber and rise to the call of duty. You are needed now more than ever. Patriots arise to serve your country because if you arise not now, there maybe no America to defend.
